Grace Darling, singer/songwriter and saxophone virtuoso, is the creative force behind Captain Hook's Jingle Factory. With over 15 years of experience in the music industry, Grace brings her exceptional talent and passion for catchy melodies to every jingle crafted in our Louisiana studio.

Grace Darling is a published composer, arranger, lyricist, producer, pianist, saxophonist, vocalist, and recording artist. It's a long list—but when your musical journey begins at age seven, there's time to master a few things along the way. Her path has taken her from classical roots to jazz, pop, and commercial music, evolving into a dynamic and multifaceted career.

Fueled by a deep passion for composing and arranging, Grace pursued formal training at the University of Texas, where she studied Music Theory and Composition. Eager to broaden her skills, she continued her education at the University of New Orleans, focusing on Instrumental Music Education and Jazz Studies, graduating with honors. This strong foundation in both classical and jazz traditions has shaped her versatile and intuitive approach to music creation.
Recording Artist & Performer
Grace's performing and recording career includes the release of her acclaimed 1998 album Imaginary Lover, produced by the legendary Allen Toussaint—a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and National Medal of Arts recipient. Available on iTunes, Spotify, and other major streaming platforms, Imaginary Lover showcases Grace's unique artistry and songwriting prowess. Over the course of 28 years, she worked closely with Mr. Toussaint, who became a valued mentor—particularly in the art of songwriting and the intricacies of leading professional recording sessions.
